KSA, 2022— Intalio announces the appointment of Riyad ALASHEIKH as an executive manager.
Among its expansion plans, Intalio has strengthened its presence in Saudi Arabia and is playing a part in fulfilling the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 through modern business solutions. To achieve this, Intalio needed to rely on local talents—in addition to its international experts—who match the company’s ambitions and reflect the culture of Saudi business. Therefore, the hiring of Riyad AlaSheikh as an executive manager came as a realization of the company’s cultural and corporate goals.
Riyad is an expert in Vision 2030 programs and strategies with more than 25 years of experience in the ICT field. He holds a B.S. in information systems and numerous certificates and courses in IT, management, and business development. Riyad had occupied many positions in the public sector since 1995 before he was appointed as an executive manager at Intalio KSA. He moved through various managerial positions at Al-Elm Information Security Company, the Security Affair Agency at the Ministry of Interior, and the National Information Center, where he managed and developed strategic business plans.
On this occasion, Riyad explained that “one of my objectives at Intalio will be to maintain the legacy of the company in KSA and embed the Saudi culture mixed with the French flavor to take Intalio to the top of the chart of IT players in the Saudi market. When asked about his role at Intalio in fulfilling Vision 2030 he explained that “One of the most important initiatives of Vision 2030 is Digital Transformation and Intalio is at the heart of Digital Transformation. My role will be to capitalize on the existing success stories to enlarge the portfolio by bringing success to government, semi-government enterprises, and SMEs to serve the KSA vision 2030”. Riyad also shared his ambitions and feelings towards his new position and goals, saying that “Intalio is a leader according to Gartner and our reference in KSA, and is a leader in the CSP market; for that reason, I am thrilled and excited to work with a company that has so much potential and a limitless offering to the market of KSA.”
From his side, Bilal Hmedeh, Executive Vice President in the Middle East and Africa, said that “Riyad is an added value to Intalio for the wide experience he has in the IT field, especially as he has sharpened this experience in governmental work. This will help us achieve KSA’s Vision 2030 of digital transformation.”
